Contemporary Arts

Carl Grubbs, jazz saxophonist and Co-Founder of Contemporary Arts Inc. was awarded the 2014 Ruby's Artist Award in May 2014.  The Ruby's are named for Ruby Lerner, active with the Creative Fund.

A sold-out Garden Party in June kicked-off CAM's annual membership/fundraising drive. The Sunday House Concert Series start-up again in September. Planning for the annual Heida Hermanns International Competition in November, this year showcasing strings, has begun in earnest! 


Pianists Marc Peloquin,Yael Manor, and Christopher Oldfather will play solo piano works from the ACA Catalog by Lionel Nowak, Reinaldo Moya, and many others, at Tenri Gallery, on Saturday, Dec. 6th at 7:30pm.

NSM welcomes Judith Ross, former Chair of the Theory Dept. at the Longy School of Music, as our newest repertoire contributor. Just published is her arrangement of The Croppy Boy for multi-level harp ensemble.
