The Atlanta Chamber Players are thrilled to announce the appointment of our new Artistic Director, pianist Elizabeth Pridgen! Elizabeth takes the reins for the upcoming 39th season from founding artistic director Paula Peace, who is retiring after co-founding the group in 1976. 


My Two Japanese Idylls for classical guitar written for Aaron Larget-Caplan were performed by him at the 4th Annual Memphis International Guitar Festival hosted by the Scheidt School of Music at the University of Memphis on April 5th 2014.

NSM just published a transcription of the viola part from the beautifulZwei Gesänge (Two Songs)”, Op.91, for clarinet.   These songs, composed by Brahms for alto, viola, and piano, are gorgeous, and the clarinet substitution works well.

I have finished recording my second solo piano CD, Interpretations, which will be formally released soon. Like the first, it consists of romantic classical music, original compositions, and a few uniquely interpreted popular pieces. Virtuoso violinist Mark Cargill joins me and the cover artwork was again created by Valerie Hennessy.
