The Golden "Reade" Flute by Eugene Dieter was dedicated to Elmer Reade who, along with his gold Haynes flute, inspired the title. The piece is a lovely barcarole & offers interesting writing for both parts - flutist & pianist will be equally pleased.

Society for Chamber Music in Rochester (SCMR), N.Y., announces Juliana Athayde and Erik Behr as new co-artistic directors. Read the Democrat and Chronicle article on the husband and wife team of Athayde (concertmaster) and Behr (principal oboist), both with the RPO.
