The histories of two Iowa towns (one real and fictional) have inspired the two extended works by Harvey Sollberger. The Red Cedar Trio – Jan Boland (flute) John Dowdall (guitar) Carey Bostian (cello) – are joined by Anthony Devroye (viola), Miera Kim (violin), Nancy McFarland Gaub (violin) and Lisa Ponton (viola).
