Latinoamérica is KAIA's debut album. A mix of contemporary classical and folk-influenced music from Latin America for string quartet featuring works composed and arranged by Julain Orbón, Elbio Barilari, Gustavo Leone, Rubén González, Cliff Colnot and Andrés Martinez de Velasco.
The quartet teams up with the Sono Luminus label and didjeridu visionary Stephen Kent on this collection of works by Peter Sculthorpe. Sensual and contemplative, spiky and wild, the works channel the spirit of the vast Australian landscape and the myriad stories it has witnessed. The result is a unique and exciting aural experience.
Camerata Pacifica's debut CD includes the world premiere of the Camerata-commissioned String Trio, as well as Four Songs of Solitude and Songs America Loves to Sing. "This superb collection, performed by the greatly talented Camerata Pacifica, is something you should hear." - Daniel Coombs, Audiophile Audition
Produced by Grammy winner Jimmy Haslip, with guest performances from Ben Monder, Jean Baylor & Gretchen Parlato, Forward in All Directions is Dapp Theory's 3rd release chronicling their 15-year journey. The band reflects what’s happening today in music, exploring musical spaces that span the globe from Appalachian folk to jazz.
