Zzyzx Quartet's newest CD "Intersections" will be released in just a few weeks! Stay tuned for details!
A suite comissioned through Chamber Music America's Jazz New Works grant, the Collected Unconscious, by leader Russ Gershon, is recorded and awaiting some overdubs and a final mix. We are hoping to have it out as a CD before the end of 2013.

I have been commissioned to write a new work for the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music New Music Ensemble, to be premiered on April 17, 2014. The new work will be for the full ensemble, with an instrumentation of 1-1-1-1, 1-1-1-1, 2 perc., harp, piano, 2-1-1-1.
Considering forming New Sound Pianograss ("NSPG"), an enlightened bluegrass quartet, replicating banjo with piano/keyboard. Seeking dedicated mandolinist, acoustic guitarist, & fiddler, preferaby in the Phoenix, AZ, area.

Todd Sickafoose was awarded a 2011 New Jazz Work commissioning grant from Chamber Music America. He plans to premiere the brand new music with his band Tiny Resistors in late 2013.

We invite you to Vermont for the 5th Lake Champlain Chamber Music Festival. Throughout the week we will explore the concept of virtuosity in music. We will be joined by the East Coast Chamber Orchestra, composer Steven Stucky, violinist Philip Setzer, guitarist Jason Vieaux and more.
