Residency Partnership Program
Application Deadline: November 16, 2012
This program supports residency projects in which jazz, classical/contemporary, and world ensemble music are presented outside traditional performance venues and in community settings, with the goal of increasing audience appreciation and awareness of small ensemble music. Applicants collaborate with community organizations to design in-depth activities for participants of various ages and backgrounds.

New Jazz Works: Commissioning and Ensemble Development
Application Deadline: March 9, 2012
Offering support for the creation and performance of new chamber works by U.S. jazz ensembles, this program also funds activities that extend the life of the work and encourages the development of career-related business skills over a three-year period.

CMA/ASCAP Awards for Adventurous Programming
2013 Application Deadline: October 5, 2012
These awards recognize ensembles and presenters demonstrating innovative approaches to new-music programming, audience development and marketing. New chamber music is defined as contemporary classical, jazz and/or world music, written for 2-10 musicians, composed in the past 25 years.

Applications for this grant cycle are now closed. Next Application Deadline: October 12, 2012
This grant program provides support to presenters engaging jazz ensembles for public performances in concert settings. Priority is given to applicants presenting emerging or mid-career ensembles or concerts that represent new programming directions for the presenter. Additional incentives are available to presenters engaging one of the 150 ensembles that have received grants from Chamber Music America’s New Works: Creation and Presentation or New Jazz Works programs
