Flutist Peter H. Bloom reports that Noteworthy Sheet Music has published his flute transcription of Fantaisie Opus 124 by Camille Saint-Saëns. The piece, originally for violin & harp, is frequently performed by Bloom and harpist Mary Jane Rupert in thier global tours as the duo "2".
Flute Focus published an article by Peter H. Bloom on Debussy's captivating work Première Rhapsodie (for clarinet), transcribed for alto flute by Carol Vater, Editor-in-Chief of Noteworthy Sheet Music, and published on the NSM site.
"2" will tour the Southeast with mezzo-soprano D'Anna Fortunato, performing Schubert's beloved Shepherd on the Rock. Peter H. Bloom's transcription of the clarinet obbligato for alto flute has been published by Noteworthy Sheet Music.
