Musiqa is a composer-led, nationally acclaimed contemporary music group that takes a fresh look at the concert experience. We create events that combine dance, poetry, theater, film and visual arts with the finest modern repertoire.Our season includes a series of multi-arts performances in downtown Houston, free concerts at the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, and one of the largest contemporary musiceducational programs in the country. Musiqa's programs have been recognized by multiple awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, Aaron Copland Fund, and Argosy Foundation Fund for Contemporary Music.
